Lithology Pattern:
Reef limestone

Relationships and Distribution

Lower contact

The Zhaowei Fm is conformable onto the underlying Jiayuan Fm

Upper contact

Conformable overlain by the Niuyuan Fm?

Regional extent

North Anhui – Jiangsu border region. The Zhaowei Formation is distributed like the Jiayuan Formation, which is developed in Suining, Pixian and Tongshan Counties, Jiangsu Province and Suxian County, Anhui Province.
